Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

We hope this is useful information! We're wishing you the best. - Guy@GEA

I have a brand new air conditioner. It keeps flashing off and on but will not stay on

Asked by: JROCKS
Hi JROCKS! Thanks for reaching out to us and for your recent purchase. We're sorry that your new air conditioner will not stay on. We see how this can be frustrating. The fuse could be blown or the circuit breaker could be tripped. To resolve this issue, you will need to replace the fuse or reset the breaker. The current interrupter device could also be tripped. To fix this, press RESET button located on the power cord plug. If the RESET button will not stay engaged, discontinue use of the air conditioner and contact a qualified service technician near you. Our unit is about a month old, there is water leaking out of the front onto the window sill and the carpet below.

Asked by: Omie T
Hello Omie! We appreciate you reaching out to us. We're sorry that your unit is leaking water. We see how this can be frustrating. The unit may be installed so that it is tilted slightly into the room. It should be level or tilted slightly to the outside (about 1/4") so that any excess water will drip outside rather than leak into the room. The air filter in the air conditioner could also be dirty. Dirty filters can cause moisture to collect and drip on the floor. To check the water filter, open the inlet grille by pulling downward on the tabs at the top upper corners of the inlet grille until the grille is in a 45º position and remove the filter. You can clean the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse and let the filter dry before replacing it. Do not clean the filter in a dishwasher. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to us at: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/contact.htm We hope this helps! Emily@GEA
