Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

Your specification page says this model is 20 amps. All the other 14 cu ft models say 15 amps. Your manual says all FUF14 models are 15 amps. I would like to purchase this model, but only have a 15 amp dedicated receptacle. Will this work?

Asked by: terry426
Hello terry426, Thank you so much for reaching out and asking this. We appreciate your interest in this amazing freezer. We've got you covered with an answer. This freezer requires 115 Volt AC, 60 Hz, 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply. So you can use 15 amp if that is all you have and it would work just fine. Thank you again for your interest. We hope you stay safe. Jonathon@GEA

At what temperature does the alarm sound? Why is there no indicator for temperature inside the freezer?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, Anonymous We hope you are staying safe and feeling well. Thanks for reaching out and asking us this. The temperature alarm for this freezer will sound off when it reaches 20 degrees above the set temperature. The display inside shows the set temperature and not the actual. We also apologize about this model not coming with an inside thermometer, we are absolutely forwarding that information to our product team. Hope this helps! Let us know if you have other questions! how many amps does this GE model # FUF14SMRWW pull?

Asked by: redbirdgran
Hi redbirdgran, Thanks for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. We do not have this information and apologize for this inconvenience. The running amps and volts are listed on all rating plates. Appliances with compressors (ex. refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, dehumidifiers), there is a brief surge of power when the compressor cycles on. This is called the "surge" or "start-up" amps, and is about 2x to 3x the running amps. We hope this information helps. Best wishes. Mike@GEA

Does the external display show actual internal temp?  Installed yesterday, mine always and still shows zero.  Plus, last night it was only down to 25 degrees — over the stated 4 hours — while this morning it’s only down to 10.  It’s set for zero...

Asked by: ilovedaisiestoo
Hi ilovedaisiestoo, We really appreciate you reaching out. Congratulations on your new freezer! We're very sorry your freezer isn't cooling as it should. We understand how concerning this might be for you and we are happy to help. This upright freezer will display the set temperature. This freezer also has a high temperature alarm that should signal when the freezer is above 20 degrees F. You will see High Temp on the display and hear an alarm. If you find that your freezer is still not cooling to 0 degrees F, we recommend taking advantage of your warranty and scheduling service with a certified GE Appliances technician that will be able to accurately diagnose and repair your appliance. You can do so by calling GE Appliance Service at 1-800-GECares (1-800-432-2737). We hope this is useful information and we wish you the best! - Guy@GEA
