Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise. Lawn equipment, seasonal items, and special order merchandise are excluded from the lifetime reinstatement benefit. See a store associate for complete details.

I have noticed that all of the GE freezers do not have a panel on the bottom rear of the units.  This would allow access to rodents, etc and could result in the freezer being ruined.  Could you please explain why there is no panel in the back.

Asked by: rdsnow
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, and for your interest in GE Appliances! This is a great question. Our freezers do not have a back panel in order to provide better access to the component parts should any service be required. Your comments are important to us. Our product design division takes these suggestions into account when planning future products. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Why does this model use more energy than a similar model in which the only difference is the shelf material (wire vs glass)?

Asked by: Mikey the Fish
Hi there! Thank you for looking to GE Appliances for your next freezer. We love that this model has an Audible Temperature Alarm to alert you if the temperature rises! We are always happy to help you understand the differences between models. The figures found on the Energy Guide labels are based on standard U.S. Government tests. Although these freezers are very similar in capacity and features, and appearance, internal components like insulation, thermistors, etc. can vary from one model to the next. We cannot say specifically what would cause the variation in energy usage. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we know you will love having either of these models in your space. Please reach out to us with any further questions, and have a great weekend! Sydney@GEA

I see the power cord is on the right rear, but upper or lower or midway?

Asked by: MarkBboo
Hey there, It's so nice to hear from you today. We hope you have been staying cool this summer. We're more than happy to help answer this for you. The power cord is located on the rear left-hand side, this should plenty of space and room to plug into that outlet. Just make sure that it's a 115 Volt AC, 60 Hz, 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply. This is truly a great freezer, and we are still to this day impressed with how well it handles a garage environment. You can definitely fill this thing up with some sweet treats and frozen meat. Let us know if you have any other questions. We're always happy to help. Jonathon@GEA

The outlets in my garage are GFI / 20 Amp breaker will this work OK ? I do not want to hire a electrician to install a dedicated line . Pretty sure all or most New homes ( mine is 3 years old ) have these type of outlets in garage.

Asked by: SGM56
Hello - Thanks for reaching out to us, this is a great question! In general, upright and chest freezers can be installed on a GFI, GFCI or AFCI circuit. The freezer should always be plugged into a properly grounded electrical outlet on an individual 15 or 20 amp circuit. We hope this helps! - Trey@GEA

Your specification page says this model is 20 amps. All the other 14 cu ft models say 15 amps. Your manual says all FUF14 models are 15 amps. I would like to purchase this model, but only have a 15 amp dedicated receptacle. Will this work?

Asked by: terry426
Hello terry426, Thank you so much for reaching out and asking this. We appreciate your interest in this amazing freezer. We've got you covered with an answer. This freezer requires 115 Volt AC, 60 Hz, 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply. So you can use 15 amp if that is all you have and it would work just fine. Thank you again for your interest. We hope you stay safe. Jonathon@GEA
