Does Aaron's check my credit?
As part of our digital approval processes, Aaron’s will check credit history and creditworthiness and rely upon customer reports and information obtained from third-parties in considering your application. We do check credit sources; however, we look at many other data points to make a final decision, and we regularly approve customers that other stores won’t, including customers with less than perfect credit or very little credit history.
How do I make my payments?
Your first payment for an online order must be made using a debit or credit card. Once the first payment is made, your local store will accept cash, checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, or you can continue to pay online. If you are interested in online payments, please go to myaccount.aarons.com and click on “Register.”
Can I pay out my lease early?
Yes. You can purchase the product at any time. If your ownership plan is longer than 6 months, you can take advantage of Aaron’s same as cash option. For those new agreements with a payment option longer than 6 months, if you payout your merchandise within the applicable same as cash period, you will pay the cash price, plus tax and applicable fees (if any). The same as cash period varies by location but is generally 120 days. For California residents the same as cash option is 90 days for all rental purchase agreements.
In addition, after the same as cash option expires, you can purchase the merchandise for more than the cash price but less than the total of remaining lease payments, as described in your lease agreement. This early purchase option amount varies by state and is explained in the lease agreement.
What is Aaron's return policy?
Once your item has been delivered, you can contact your local store to schedule a time for return or pick-up as stated in your agreement. However, you will not receive a refund. But don’t forget about our lifetime reinstatement benefit; you can restart your lease anytime you like on the same or comparable value merchandise (excludes lawn equipment). See a store associate for complete details.

After the fill cycle, this machine is very loud with a pulsing sound. I was going to write a review with the information, but I thought maybe its just my unit.

Hello, our washer dryer is only about 3 weeks old. It makes a lot of noise in the washer cycle. More than the original GE one. Is this normal? You can hear it from two floors down. Do you think it needs service to verify it is properly working? Thanks

Asked by: mj277
Hi there, We are sorry to hear that your washer is this loud. We are happy to take a look at some options for you! We do offer some rubber pads that you can put underneath the washer so that it limits some of the noises. However, you may want to schedule a service if it seems to be this loud. It is hard to judge sound as an issue for certain without one of our technicians being there. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Appliance technician by calling 1-800-432-2737 or schedule online at http://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm We hope this helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions. Take care! Drew@GEA

Can this washer be taken apart to move it to a basement and then put back together?

Asked by: Artsaves
Good afternoon, Thank you for reaching out and for taking the time to check with us about separating this washer and dryer combo. We are happy to help! This is one of our Unitized washer and dryer units. You won't be able to remove these two from each other because they come together from the factory. Any unitized model will be the same way. The only stacked units you will be able to remove are models that are standalone capable. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you have any additional questions, feel free to connect with us again. Have a great day! Drew@GEA

When washing clothes even on a small load it never fills the water beyond the clothes! In the rinse cycle it fills the water higher! Is there any way to by pass this water fill? It makes the clothes shift and it can't wash well. Save water fill on rinse

Asked by: MADMD
Hello, Thank you so much for reaching out to us. We hope you are doing well and staying safe. We are definitely happy to help answer this question for you. This washer is an high efficiency washer and doesn't actually use as much water for the cycle. We recommend checking out page 11 in the Use and Care manual for more information and what the normal fill levels would look like. Here is a link to the manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90582-4.PDF We hope this helps out. Am I doing something wrong? The machine during the washing cycles is very loud. Can this be fixed?

Asked by: Katrina1974
Good afternoon, We are sorry to hear that your washer is loud. We are happy to provide some troubleshooting options for you! First, we recommend looking at the Use and Care manual at the troubleshooting section. This section starts on page 18 and on page 20 you will find a number of different sounds that this machine could make. We will post the link to this manual below. We also recommend looking at some of our rubber padding options. These will sit between the washer and the floor to prevent some additional noises. The part number for the rubber feet are WH08X10061. Hello, How much water should be in the drum when on Whites/Heavy? I measured about two inches. Thanks:)

Asked by: MKMGO
Hi there! We appreciate you connecting with us for your question. We are more than happy to provide guidance. On this model washer there is no exact amount of water that should be in the drum during each cycle. The water level varies from load to load depending on how many items are in the load and what type of items are in the load. For additional information on water level for washing cycles, please visit page 7-9 of the Use and Care Manual at the link below. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90581-5.PDF Thank you for checking with us. We hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions you may have. - Adrian@GEA

Why is there such a large gap at the top of the washer tub I’ve lost so many socks because of this and why does it sound like it rocks back and forth when washing instead of in circles it’s loudly obnoxious and annoying

Asked by: Autumng65
Hello! Thank you for choosing GE Appliances for your home. We apologize that you are having an issue with your washer. We can understand the frustration this may cause. The gap within the washer is necessary for the tub to be able to operate effectively. We apologize that you are having items carry over into that gap. If things get stuck between the tub and the casing it will require service to access those items. Also, due to the design of the unit, the rocking sound is normal for this washer. The agitation part of the cycle does involve some rocking back and forth, as it moves in two different directions. We have provided a resource for some of the normal noises you may experience with this washer. https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=36011 Again, we apologize for the inconvenience. If there is anything further, please reach out to us. We hope this helps! - Brittany@GEA

How far can the unit vent?

Asked by: Krotto
Hi there! This is a great question, and we are happy to help. The maximum allowable length of the exhaust system depends upon the type of duct, number of turns, the type of exhaust hood (wall cap) and all conditions noted on the chart. You can reference this chart on page 13 of the Installation Instructions at the link below. We normally recommend that the vent is as short and as straight as possible, this helps with the unit's effectiveness in exhausting. https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-16781-3.pdf Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. We hope this helps. Please feel free to reach out to us with any additional questions you may have. - Adrian@GEA
